R.I.P. Betty
Elizabeth "Betty" A. Jeanguenat, 77, of Englewood, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26,2014 at her home. Born on August 24, 1936 in Cleveland, OH she had been a resident of Charlotte County for fifteen years coming from Erie, Pennsylvania. She attended St. Catherine's Catholic Grade School, and graduated from St. Peter's High School in 1955 in Cleveland.
She was a homemaker for 30+ years until retiring in 1999 to Englewood, FL. In her retirement, Betty went to work for Publix at Cape Haze, where she worked for over 10 yrs. Elizabeth was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Jeanguenat Sr.
Survivors include one daughter: Elizabeth A. Chester of Raleigh, N.C.; two sons: William Jeanguenat of Atlanta, GA.; Gerald L. (Susan) Jeanguenat, Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; and two grand children: Charles and Bridget Jeanguenat.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service will be held 10 AM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 5265 Placida Road, Englewood, Florida 34224
