Betty's favorite restaurant, had birthdays there only fitting to Celebrate her Life in one of her favorite places quaint gathering of family and friends.

Mom was very happy that I was able to use her wedding crown as mine when Don & I were married. We had to replace some of the lace & I wore it in a different way but still the same headpiece. My something old.

Moms trip to GA, she went with us in thee motor home & we were at our cousin Gina's house. There she was able to visit with her brother (pictured).

This is my childhood clown doll. Mom & dad got it for me with green stamps. I carried this toy around by the neck mom told me eventually pulled the head off, so they got me another since I was so very attached.  I don't know my age. I was toddling & still in a crib & wouldn't sleep without the doll. After the 5th replacement doll they stopped making it. Mom said I was devastated. A different clown doll could not console me.  So my mother, with her sewing ability, deconstructed the whole doll using the old doll as a pattern, and sewed a whole new doll, that looked identical (to me). Only the face is original. She even made a new doll outfit.  Yes I kept it for ever & brought it to the nursing home this day so we could reminisce. 

Mom loved the Red Cross and did 2 tours of duty helping the victims of NY after the World Trade Centers were destroyed in September 2011 

Mom enjoyed the fun of the Red Hat Society & was Queen of her own chapter: The Blue Hen Red Hatter for a number of years.
