Glad to know that she was surrounded by her loved ones till the very end.

Immediately on hearing of the sad demise we said a prayer for her soul to rest in peace and will be offering mass for her tomorrow.

We are very sad to hear of the passing away of Aunty Elyn. She was very much loved and respected and we will definitely miss her greatly. I was heartened to hear from Noel and Uncle Arthur that she died a peaceful death surrounded by her near and dear ones.

I know it is a sad moment for all us. However, we need to celebrate and thank God that he gave Aunty Elyn to us for 86 years of which I certainly enjoyed 59 of those years. Meanwhile all our prayers and thoughts are with you.

I have lovely memories of Elyn from our youthful days in Chembur. I can see her standing outside bungalow # 7 waiting for her boys to get home from school, I can see her bringing Ranee to the swimming pool for early poolside fun and swimming lessons, I can see her and U Arthur coming over to our home for dinner, and taking walks around the 'colony' on the only road that ran through that estate. … and, of course, being the only 'catholics' in a small tight community, we bonded in friendship and in faith. 

In recent times, thanks to Peter & Evie, I have been updated with photographs and snippets of family news. 

Our deepest condolences to each of you. We will keep Elyn and her family in our prayers in an extra special way as we hear mass today .
