 Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 peter 1:3
Mrs Esther Bolaji Olawale ( Nee Afowowe) fondly called "Iya Aduke" was born April 28, 1948 to Chief John Ajayi Afowowe and Madam Elizabeth Olayemi Afowowe (Nee Ati) of Oke Okuta compound at Ipetu Ijesha, Osun State, Nigeria. Mrs Esther Bolaji Olawale went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2024. To God be the Glory!
Mrs Esther Bolaji Olawale had her elementary school at St Paul Anglican Primary school, Ipetu Ijesha in 1954-1960. Her secondary education was at St Paul Anglican modern school, Ipetu Ijesha in 1960-1963.
After her modern education and the death of her father, Mrs Esther proceeded to her sister's place (Late Deaconess Juliana Mopelola Ajibola) at Ibadan, where she was trained to become a well skilled and professional fashion designer at Ajibola Home of Fashion. She was trustworthy, respectful and had great ability to multitask.
On the 13th of December 1975, Mrs Esther got married to her sweetheart Elder Richard Olatunji Olawale. Their union is blessed with children and grandchildren at the time she answered the call of the Lord. Hallelujah!
Some year after their stay in Ibadan, Mrs Esther and her husband decided to relocate to Badagry Lagos State, where she started doing business (selling of foodstuffs such as Garri, Elubo, Rice, Beans, maize etc at wholesale prices) at Agbalata and other small markets around the community.
Mrs Esther Bolaji Olawale was a devoted Christian. She was always in church. She was a bonafide member of women's morning prayer at Freeman memorial Methodist cathedral Badagry. Mrs Esther never stopped attending Sunday services and other programme in the church till she was called to glory.
"Moomi" fondly called by her Children was a strong woman and a goal-getter who fought tirelessly to protect her Children from the dangers of time. She was a virtuous and patient woman who taught everyone around her morals. "Iya Aduke" fondly called by people was a great teacher, very generous, easy going, peace maker and a great supportive system to her Children and family, and a woman every Child would always pray to have as a mother.
For Saints, death is not a time for sorrow but that of joy.
" *For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first" 1 Thessalonians 4:16*
