When Gene was little he liked turn away.  Mom used to tie him to two trees on a long rope.  She put a rope aaround his middle and tied the other end to the rope between the trees, so he could run back and forth between the trees.  One day he got away and we could not find him, until I heard him crying and standing in the middle of a big sandburr patch, bare foot.  He always swore I put him there!
