I didn't know you personally. Ive only met you once. But on behalf of my late Grandfather Eugene Harmon and my grandmother Eloise Harmon I know you lived a wonderful and I am praying for your family. May you rest peacefully in the arms of God.

Baby Huey, that is the name I called you from Felton Elementary School and each time I saw you after high school. "Weeping may endure for the night but joy will come in the morning. Your sickness and pain was endured, but now your joy is that you are healed and pain free. Rest in the arms of GOD.

Huey, I remember you at junior High School, May God surround you with his loving Angels. Rest in PEACE. God bless your Family.

Dear Eugene, I will always treasure our love and friendship. Our road was not always even,but we came together and God allowed us to give birth to a most beautiful baby girl Tara Diane! I Thank God and you for the blessing of this wonderful woman. Gene I will miss you! I will watch over Tara and her babies. We'll see you again one day! Much Love!

Eugene Robert Harmon was a father, foster parent, educator and a friend. He gave of himself to help others. He gave refuge to those children whose live were filled with adversity and educated those who needed his guidance.

Gene helped me through some personal life changes and introduced me to his beautiful daughter, Tara; the apple of his eye forever.

Oh heart, if one should say to you that the soul perishes like the body, answer that the flower withers; but the seed remains. Thank you for letting me share your father's life with me. Love You!

Dear All, a memorial service will be held for Dad on Tuesday August 18, 2015 at 11am at Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 2188 Woodward Ave, Columbus, OH 43219. For those who may be looking for it, a simple obituary will run in The August 17th Columbus Dispatch.

Dad requested bright colors or at least no black clothing for the celebration of his life and we plan to honor that.

Huey I will miss coming to visit you. I am happy that you are no longer suffering and are at peace. I enjoyed our visits and phone calls since your stay at the nursing facility. Be at peace with God and I'll always remember you. Carrie

Although, my dear one you cannot see me, I will always be near to give you a helping hand. Let not your heart be troubled for God will always sustain your every need. Now let peace abide with you as I continue my journey onward.
