Mother’s Day 2024 will always and forever be the hardest one to get through. It’s our first one without you. No hugs. No kisses. No cards. Just flowers for your grave and the memories we’re left with. We did gather at Barb’s today as per usual. And we did eat and open presents for Courtney’s birthday. We all tried our hardest to wish each other a Happy Mother’s Day, and act social, but it was different. Your absence was hanging over all of us. We all miss you so much.

It's Mother's Day, MOM, I miss you everyday but especially today. You made my life special with your love and support all along the way. Your strength, your sense of humor, your companionship, your friendship, your love, was the greatest gift to me and all your loved ones. Happy Mother's Day Mom, I love you.
