Florida Mae Boston Smith was born to Dock and Bessie Mae Boston, October 17, 1913 in Coweta County. Most of her youth days was spent on Lazy Land Farm located on Corinth Road.

She was united in marriage to Anderson Stewart.

Florida Mae was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, T. Z., Dock Henry, Edward Lee and sister, Leunia Boston Lindsey. She was the mother of one child, Mae Nell Stewart Green who also preceded her in death.

She leaves to remember her for her many years on earth and being an “Ambassador for Christ,” five grandchildren, James Green, Michael Green (Sonya), David Green, Haevon Green and Flora Mae Green; ten great grandchildren; twenty-one great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren; a God daughter, Brenda Burnett.

Florida Mae joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age. Through it all, Florida Mae continued to worship with New Hope Baptist, Mt. Zion Baptist, Mt. Gilead United Methodist.

From 1913 to 2013 Florida Mae survived many storms.
