Mrs. Floyd Lee "Flossie" Walton of Columbus, passed away Friday at Gentiva Hospice at the blessed age of 99. She resided at 1615-A Sheffield Drive.
A native of Russell County, AL., and the daughter of the late Will Henderson and Leila Savage, Mrs. Walton was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church and the International Benevolent Society.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie C. Walton; a son, Willie Rome; a granddaughter, Sandra L. Rome and two brothers, Robert Savage and John Brooks.

Survivors include two daughters, Matilda Walton and Carolyn Walton Daniels; four sons, Ervin Rome, Eugene Rome, Oscar Walton and Richard Walton(Senethia); twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lottie Walton; devoted family members and friends, Myrtis Rome, Carrie Stathums, Mildred Tremble, Eunice Dean and Susie Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
