Christmas Cookies! Whenever I think of Christmas cookies, I remember Fran Scott. She would make dozens and dozens of all kinds of shapes and types and my siblings and I would feast on them for a whole month! She was so good to the four Gonzalez kids. I am sure she was a wonderful grandmother. Frank Gonzalez, Jr. 330-497-5888.

So sorry for your loss. Frannie was a very warm and fun spirited person. Loved to talk to her back in the old neighborhood. The 17th Street Neighborhood was never quite the same without her. Thinking of all of you during this difficult time.

The Missing Fudge

February 13, 2016

Grandma and Grandpa went on vacation with us to Myrtle Beach when I was a kid, and during the night she got hungry and ate all my fudge. She felt so guilty about it that she started leaving piles of quarters on my dresser every night so that I  could go play video games (Pac-Man was my current obsession) every day in a little hut on the beach. It's funny because I don't remember the fudge. I've heard about it. All I remember was how loved I felt when I woke up every day. She has made me feel that way my whole life. I miss you Grandma. Love, Denise

Mom always said she picked me for her son.  She and I sat at the table in her kitchen and we picked out my engagement ring and wedding band.  They say that when you marry, you marry a whole family.  God blessed me with having this lady in my life.  We love you Mom, Mable
