Aunt Fran - I am going to miss you tremendously! You have always been such a constant part of my life, that it's hard to imagine anything else. What an inspiration you have been and the memories that you have left will stay with me always. Thank you for the many stories that you have shared with me. Age should show no limits, and you did that for me!! As a child you were always my progressive, strong, energetic, family oriented aunt. As an adult you became a confidant, friend, and someone that I enjoyed spending time with. When I went through my breast cancer surgery last year - you and Dawn were so thoughtful with sending me meals and homemade chicken soup! I will never forget that and all of your thoughtfulness, stubborness (lol - those April people), your love of family, (picnics - going back to Knowland Park in Oakland) and your genuine love.that you showed to Darrell, Jennifer, Arielle and myself through the years. I am grateful for all of the wonderful memories and stories that you have been a part of. Thank you for being such a great sister to my mom, an awesome Aunt to me and someone that we all can look up to. You were so much fun and I hope that our family can keep those family reunion picnics going in honor of you!! I will always love and have the best memories of you!! Rest in peace and know that you have left behind an amazing legacy in your family, immediate and all of the rest of us!! Love you always !!
