Mrs. Parmer was born November 23, 1948, to Clyde Wesley and Frances Lee Waldroup Bailey of West Point. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Parmer.

Mrs. Parmer graduated from West Point High School in 1966. She was a homemaker, but had worked at Citizens National Bank until her health declined. Previously, she had also worked for Troup County School System at Gray Hill Elementary, and at First National Bank in West Point.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bryan (Marlene) Parmer, grandson Justin Parmer, all of LaGrange; sister and brother-in-law, Ida (Ron) Womack of Suwanee, Georgia; nieces Camille and Marissa Womack; and several other extended family and friends.
