Mrs. Sims was born in Jefferson County, Alabama January 16, 1924 to the late Fred C. Looser and the late Roberta Ellison Looser. She was the oldest member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church and she retired from West Point Pepperell as a weaver.

She is survived by 2 daughters-Bobbie (Hershell) Lashley of LaFayette, Al. Sue (Norman) Conyers of LaFayette, Al., 4 grandchildren-Carolyn (Ben) Cole, Lou (Ronnie) Duffie, Denise (Ed) Lamb, Chris Lashley. 5 great grandchildren-Rachel Lamb, Brittany Lamb, Joseph Lamb, Tabitha Duffie, Wyatt Lashley. 2 great great grandchildren-Krystal Lamb, Annabelle Callow.
