I attended the Nigerian Law School together with Funke and Ike and lived in the same building complex in the Bronx when I initially moved to the US. She is truly a beautiful person with a kind heart and a lovely soul. She will be greatly missed. May God grant the family the fortitude to bear her loss. Rest in peace and rise in glory.

Funke, You are woman of faith that lived an exemplary Christian life.God loved you so much that he called you away from your mundane family too soon to be with him in the hereafter.Your children and family are blessed to have had such a loving and wonderful mother, sister, aunt and daughter as well as those of us that had the opportunity to know you.
Rest in peace in the bosom of God till we meet to part no more.

I met Funke about 17 years ago and she was a lady in deed. She measured up to all expectations that you expected from a colleague. She defended the interests of her clients to the hilt and while she remained cordial to me as opposing counsel. She had class and she was great in her interactions with all. We miss her, but the memories she left behind say all about her life! She has left a great path of decent character from which we can all emulate! May God protect her wards in this trying time and provide for them in whatever they may lack. Amin.

Sister Funke, you were an embodiment of the proverbial virtuous woman.....ever gentle, humble, peaceful and pleasant. Your call to eternity came too soon and unexpectedly. We cannot question God's will but I believe we shall meet again at the house of glory. Love you Sis. Peace, well deserved be unto your soul.

Funke

You were my sister, friend, confidant. You were there to listen when I needed a listening ear. You were there to support and encourage me whenever I neede you to. You encouraged me to reach for the sky. You were always on me to Rest more often, enjoy life more, work smarter. You constantly told me especially at the end to hold and cherish my husband and children closer. You often told me what mattered the most is our relationship with God. You never took yourself too seriously. You were humble. Your love for your late husband always shone through. Your love and worry for your children especially at the end was apparent. Your love for your family especially your neices and nephews was apparent to all who knew you. Funke you worked so hard and did the best for your clients. You held on to to Lord until your last breath. I will forever miss your smile, your support and love. You have gone to rest in the arms of the Lord. Your children will be well taken care of by all of us. Sleep well my sister.
