I had the joy of having dinner with Bear a few weeks ago in Phoenix.  So wonderful to spend time with my dear friend! 

I worked closely with Gaye for years and was blessed to have her work with me on my cases.  No detail was too small for Gaye to find and more importantly to remember.  She loved poring through voluminous documentation, organizing and analyzing.  She was so incredibly smart and challenged me at every turn.  She was quiet and reserved but had a fun side she only shared with certain people.  I was one of those lucky ones.  I will miss her immensely.  Berit, I don’t believe I ever met you but your mom and I spoke often about our kids...she loved you so much, my heart aches for her and you. She will always be there in your heart and mind. Just listen.  Peter....my soul aches for you.  May her memory be a blessing.  

Gaye was so keen. She was kind. She was real. This is a terrible loss for young lawyers who looked up to her like I did back in the day at Sacks Tierney, and for all who knew her wit, funny cynicism, and generous heart. My love to her family and friends.
