We joined Olam together with Gbenga on the 20th of October 2014, after induction he was transferred to Sagamu, he opted for transfer because he felt he wasn't impacting to the organization.
Gbenga was transferred to Ok Foods, he was handling the biscuit plant while I was handling the wafer plant. Gbenga became my confidant and support, he encouraged me all the way and ensured I was comfortable.
He is an strong believer of God, no day passes by without biblical quotes on living a holy and godly life. He is very brilliant and a workaholic. He thought me how to manage time by eating and reading in vehicles.
He has been the best of all his mates, who would advice me on career paths??? Oh death, Gbenga lived a selfless life, he thought of others not minding self. His send off from the company came as a shock, I cried all through. I remember going for his gratuity, he never wanted to get all his pay but I ensured all his benefits were duly given to him because he deserved it and even more.
The story goes on!!!!!!
God bless for all you did.
My husband was asking me who he would share the word with?? My daughter Urem will definitely miss you . Who would come to my house unannounced and tell me he is at the door??
I am heart broken.
Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon him. May the soul of Gbenga rest in peace with the Lord, Amen.
