I know Gene always used to say how proud he was of you for doing so well and being so well behaved. Gene was and will always be remembered to both my family and I. He gave me such joy when we were together. Weather he was threatening to throw me off a deck {jokingly } or when were just eating dinner together, I always had a great time. To me he was/is family and is just as irreplaceable as any family member. Thank you, so much gene for giving me all the great times, that we had together.

Gene was one of my dads oldest friends. They knew each other since college and they truly had some great times together. The first time I remember meeting Gene was at my bar mitzvah. He had a gregarious personality that everyone seemed to be attracted to. Then, he came to fire island and he made everyone laugh with stories and jokes. Gene was a great guy who will forever have an effect on my life
