George M. Courtney, 69, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on July 25th, 2023,
surrounded by family and friends.

George, also known as Mickey, was born to Jaqueline and Ernest Courtney, on
November 28, 1953, in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Proceeded in death by his parents Jackie and Ernie Courtney and his sister Patti
Carter.

George, (Mickey), is survived by his four children. Daughters, Samara Harmon,
her children, Matthew Courtney, Courtney and Shaun Carey Jr.

Shelly Greathouse and Kenneth Tilton, children, Chelsea Barlow, Christian
Spaeth, Kianna and Kayli Tilton.

Sons, Sean Courtney and his wife Amanda, children, Alexis Fisher, Anthony,
Andrew, and Christopher Courtney.

Scott Courtney, his children, Jayden Lewis, Blaze and Jazelyn Courtney.

Along with six (6) great grandchildren.

His ex-wife, Barbara Courtney, was married for 31 years, the mother of his sons
and bonus mother to his daughters. Best friends, Eric and Valerie Jones. He has many nieces and nephews and their families.

George enjoyed doing Karaoke, fishing, playing darts, and a variety of card
games with his family and friends. He was a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan. Near the
end, George enjoyed sharing his breakfast with Buttercup his grand pup.
