A fitting tribute to a very humble, honest, and wonderful family man George Seagren,A true good human being.
George Seagren ,which I have had the pleasure to have known as a co worker and most importantly as a friend.
I have worked with George back in the days of United Airlines where I .
first met George back in 1978 We continued our friendship throughout these past forty years.George was one who was very quiet and one who rarely ever complained about anything, even throughout his past years battling his illness, and doing it with strength ,courage, and dignity. He never complained once about his condition and how serious it was.How hard that must of been for him,but his inner strength keep him going. If you were one of the lucky ones who got to know George, you would have seen that soft sense of humor shine through the more you got to know him.George had a way of when being around him,he made you feel that things were very much under control and things were going to turn out out OK. George was very often quiet but with a sense of strength that showed through in times of need. I will always hold fond memories of George in my heart and I feel fortunate that can say I was one of the lucky ones who had a friend named George.
George, a loving father who always had such pride when talking about his two wonderful daughters,Melissa and Allison.George was also a wonderful husband to Chris his wife.
Although the loss of your father and Chris your husband,I can only hope and pray you all can rejoice in the fact that you were lucky enough to have spent the many wonderful years together as a family and a family that had George in their lives. You will always have those wonderful memories and times to look back on.
George you will forever be missed by me and everyone who were lucky enough to know you and whose lives you have touched.
May you rest in peace and enjoy the journey.
Farewell my friend.
