What a legacy George leaves and what a beautiful obituary! Betsey and Becky and family will definitely have a void in their lives. What a beautiful Christian family they represent and a joy to know them!

Knowing George & Betsey - has been a gift from God. Talking & listening to George has been a joy. His stories are priceless. Recalling when Patty Highland and I took communion to them. George sang the song he had composed for Betsey....What a Love Story. His jokes always gave me a smile and a good laugh. Yes, God does put people in your life to help you and that he did for me with George. I will miss my friend.

What a beautiful obituary, especially the first line ‘Let the memory of George be with us forever’ which I am sure is true.

I have read George's obituary more than once, every time inspired by his devotion to God and his family and his generosity. What a life well lived!

I have known and loved George & Betsey since I came to LTUMC in 1992. What a loving couple, and what an example of Christian love and fellowship they have set for everyone who knows them! George was a true gentleman, always opening doors and taking care of the ladies! And when he prayed, you knew that you had witnessed a close connection with the Lord. His death leaves a huge hole in so many lives -- especially for Betsey and all of his family. I am grateful to have known and admired him.
