My Dad was one of the most positive people I have met and will ever meet in my life. I could never stay mad at him for more than a day because of how much of a jokester he was. He is the only person that I knew, who could go through the lowest of times and pick himself completely back up. He always encouraged me to do the things that I was always afraid to do, especially if he knew that it would benefit me. He is the reason why I continued my education. He helped me grow the courage to know that I had the potential to transfer to a great school. He had a great passion for his ranch, palm trees, and animals.  My family, along with my dad himself, found out on August 8th that he had cancer and within the next month and a half he was gone from all of our lives. It still has not completely sunk in and I don't feel that it ever fully will. I know that he is watching over everybody. I am making this page because I think everybody should be remembered for the positive things they have done in their life. Feel free to write any memories they have of Gil on here...I know he would have loved to hear them.
