Affectionately known by "Cookie" by family and friends, Miss Fanniel was born in Marion County, GA, and was the daughter of the late Aaron and Rosie B. Davis Fanniel. She was a graduate of the William H. Spencer High School and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She had been employed with Cobb Memorial Hospital, and was retired from J. C. Penney's.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ulysses Fanniel.

Survivors include: her loving and devoted cousin, Mrs. Rose M. Hill and family; a loving and devoted friend, Mrs. Bertha Ogletree and family, a host of other relatives and friends.
