Man it’s been such a long time but I will never forget you Ms. Gloria. You’re kindness, love, and warmth and how you welcomed me as one of your adopted grandchildren are memories that will never fade. Thank you for teaching me how to wipe my child backside properly and for your cooking, advice and fun moments we shared. You are forever missed and appreciated!

To know you was to love you. To simply describe you as amazing would not do you justice... To our family you were everything! Your presence was a force, your love and kindness was like no other. Because of who you were we continue to be blessed.
Granny, one thing that has helped me cope in times when missing you becomes overwhelming is your sense of humor. I often find myself cracking up thinking about some of the crazy things you used to say and do. I miss your laugh... Somehow hearing you laugh made the worst situations seem brighter. Your energy filled every room you entered to capacity. You had this vibe about yourself that made everyone feel like they were special, like they were your favorite. I remember waking up early in the mornings trying to call you and your line was usually tied up because everyone was trying to get their morning dose of Mommy Nena!
Your strength is an inspiration that motivates me daily to continually push to be the best woman I can possibly be. Granny you are so missed, there is not a day that has gone by since you've left that you do not cross my thoughts. I miss you with all my heart and I am forever grateful that their is a piece of you living on within all of us.

Miss Gloria AKA Mommy Nena an angel to all who knew her. Queen to her 6 kids an 15 grandkids and 9 great grand kids. Travon my son reminded me how strong and funny his grandmother was while dealing with cancer and having one breast removed.She thought it was so funny to torture him with her one boob,and always having a nicknames for somebody, this is the type of person she was. So my heart is broken but my soul is full for she have given me 5 of the coolest loving siblings one can ask for, thank you Mom, remembering her on her "BirthDay" as Curt my big brother put it "gone but never forgotten" like the matriarch of our family mommy Audrey we love you and miss you both...

A Tribute to our Mother's memories!
We are who we are because of our mother Nena, who gave us everything she could, let our memories of her live on forever! It is amazing how mom always seemed to find time for each of her six children who lived in numerous states. When she visited she cooked and baked and gave each of us her motherly love. It's amazing how our mother was able to divide her love among the six of us, making each of us feel like we were her number one child! While I served in the military our mother traveled to every country and every state where I was stationed so she can bring my share of her love! Our mother had a beautiful soul and she left a trail of beautiful memories not only with her family but everyone she came in contact with. It's hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. Our Mother's life was a blessing to us, her memories are our treasures, we love her beyond words and misses her beyond measures!
Thank you God for making Nena my mother!
