Our Dear Mami Grace, It is one year now that you have been gone from our world. It will soon be one year too since your brother John Tanyi followed you to heaven July 29th. We remember you both this month and say Thank You for all the bright smiles and warm laughter; genuine love and hot meals; and the many blessings which you always showered on us and well wishers. You always prayed that prosperity, goodness and success reward our hard work. May God's grace shine upon you eternally; and also shine eternally upon ALL our other loved ones who have gone ahead to heaven.  We know that you are all resting peacefully in God's care in heaven safe and sound in the company of Angels. We put our trust and our hope in God to be our Helper, our Guide and our Protector. Rest in perfect peace. Amen

Yeah Ma Grace; you have ran the race that we all, must run. Three score and ten and a bonus of seven is gratifying. It is praises we need to offer to the Almighty and not tears; otherwise He will consider us, his proper clay, ungrateful. As a Moyo, you know all too well how our relationship fared. Rest in peace and greetings to Mami Monica Akwen and Pa Laangeh Tanyi, till we meet again.

Dearest Mami Grace, How can we forget the jokes when we were just kids. You spoke to us in pidgin English and then most unexpectedly in Kedjom. We loved it so much. Yes, the achu basket that we always expected when you knocked, sweetest achu and we were always ready to deep our fingers into it. You are gone but your memory will never, never, never, fade. Rest, Mami, Rest with the Lord.
