BIOGRAPHY

Mrs Grace Toluwaleyi Onifade was born on May 21, 1952 in Ilesa, Osun State to the family of Pastor & Deaconess Julius and Victoria Onifade. She accepted Christ at an early age and was involved in many church activities. She was an active member of the Welfare Unit and a dedicated elder who remained Heaven conscious even until her departure.

Mama Grace Toluwaleyi attended The Apostolic School, Igbogi-Ikoyi, Iléṣà (1959-1965) for her primary school education and proceeded to Atakumosa High School, Osu, Iléṣà (1965-1968) for her secondary school education.

She later changed to African Church Grammar School, Iléṣà (1968-1970) where she completed her secondary school education and obtained her Secondary School Certificate. Later in 1981, she began her career study in Education at College of Education, Iléṣà and after 3 years, she graduated and obtained her Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1984.

Mrs Toluwaleyi then proceeded to Ondo State University now known as Ekiti State University (1995-2000) for her Bachelor's degree in Guidance and Counselling. Despite her age and family responsibilities at that time, she graduated with a 2nd Class Upper.

Her teaching career started in Ibadan, Oyo State at Islamic Primary School, Agugu (1990 ) and later taught Home Economics as well as Foods and Nutrition at Queen of Apostles Secondary School, Oluyoro (1999-2004), Holy Trinity secondary school, Aromolaran (2005-2007), United Secondary School, Agugu (2008-2010) and Aperin Boys High School, Orita-Aperin between 2010 and 2011 where she retired as a Vice Principal in 2011.

She was joined in holy matrimony to her heartthrob, Rafiu Gbadegesin Oduola in 1977 and the marriage is blessed with beautiful children.

Based on her background in Foods and Nutrition, she treated her family, friends and neighbours to different culinary delicacies for which she will be fondly remembered. Mrs G.T. Oduola was a very industrious and hospitable woman from whom her children had drawn strength and tenacity.

Over the years, she delved into catering and decoration alongside her teaching career, where she majored in baking cakes and snacks for occasions. Little wonder why after retirement she engaged in consumer products trading which she did until her departure.

Mama Grace Toluwaleyi Oduola will be sorely missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, friends, families and neighbours.
