As Tuesday gets closer, I can think of so many things that I learned from Grady Griffin.
He taught me the real deal about history and the Black revolutionary movement.
He introduced me to good brandy!
He taught me to have fun and he taught me to be cool.
I can't help myself from mentioning how cool he was. Grady was the teacher of cool! He kept his head under pressure, he was hilarious, and just very good company.
There was a very VERY horrible moment in my life and there wasn't many people that had my back the way he did.
I use to call him Mr. Griffin, and he couldn't stand it. He was such a reserved person and he came across like he didn't want anyone to worry about him.
He will be missed :'-(
