In all honesty, Hauwa had the most beautiful spirit about her that I have ever encountered in my life. I was drawn to this woman! I honestly, seriously sensed Jesus radiating off her. And she will most definitely be missed... Who would ever want to do such a thing to such a beautiful soul, is past my understanding. May you rest in peace, sweet lady. I know where you are, you are happy.

Because you would rather have me sing than cry, I sing this hymn which is a favorite of mine:

Through the love of God, our Savior,
all will be well;
free and changeless is his favor,
all will be well;
precious is the blood that healed us,
perfect is the grace that sealed us,
strong the hand stretched out to shield us,
all will be well.

Though we pass through tribulation,
all will be well;
ours is such a full salvation,
all will be well.
happy when in god confiding,
fruitful if in Christ abiding,
holy through the Spirit's guiding,
all will be well.

We expect a bright tomorrow;
all will be well;
faith can sing through days of sorrow,
all will be well;
on our Father's love relying,
Jesus every need supplying
in our living, in our dying,
all will be well.

Auntie Hawa, I still cant wrap this around my fingers. You were more than amazing. A perfect definition of a rare gem. You will always remain in my heart. I remember telling you to scold me when i did wrong, but you will always pet me and love me amidst my imperfection. I light a candle for you because you always brighten my day with laughter and compliments. We never got to cook together like you suggested. Adios mommy, you will forever be remembered and celebrated.

Your smile, your gentleness and your kind spirit will stay with me forever. I light this candle because I know that your light will shine on through the lives that you touched. We will meet at Jesus feet.

Shine On auntie, shine on. ---Lisa Philomina Munji

Hauwa brought joy, peace, faith, and love to each life she touched. How blessed we were to know the love of a woman who loved Jesus so deeply. We enjoyed the times we were able to eat together, pray together, and share together. Hauwa, we look forward to seeing you in heaven.

Antie, you lived a worthy life. The testimony both at home and abroad says it all. Rest in perfect peace.

Aunty I remember the last time you sat me down and spoke to me about purity,about holding Gods word close to my heart,about being great,focusing on my education and also praising God in every situation. You never scold nor spite anyone instead you speak softly with lots of love,I will miss you dearly,I will miss how you call me "double mummy".
I have asked a lot of questions because the pain in my heart is too much to bear,but one thing I know is you are resting from this cruel world,you have lived well,you have taught well,you have left a legacy,it's just sad and painful that you had to leave us this way,only God knows why. We love you dearly Aunty but God loves you the most. Rest well my dearest Aunty. I will miss you everyday until we meet to part no more. I Love You.

You are greatly missed but your legacy remains. I am grateful for the times we've spent in prayer, grateful for the encouragement. I am grateful for the lessons you have taught me and those that I have caught watching you. I am grateful for your tenacity in holding on to Jesus during times of adversity and never wavering in your faith in Jesus Christ. I am grateful even when I was not spontaneous in returning phone calls you never gave up on me. You taught me to pray no matter what the circumstance may be. You always had your bible and Oswald Chambers devotional, My Utmost for His Highest. Truly you lived your utmost for His highest. You were a mother, friend teacher and mentor. I thank God for you. Helen Bako

Dr Hauwa Kadima....antin Jos, anti shuru shuru. I have re-read the last sms I got from you on July 5th, I have listened over and over to the voice message you left me on July 4th wishing me 'happy 4th'....and wishing I could call you back to life.
Auntie I have asked a million WHYs, why did you have to go in such a painful manner? I may never get an answer but I hold on to the fact that God knows it. Our singular consolation as your family is that you LOVED the Lord unashamedly and lived your life for Him, sharing His Word and love every opportunity you got.
I wish I knew that my visit to Longview on 15032014 would be the last time I will see you..................
May you rest in the bossom of the Lord till we meet again.
