The daughter of Lee and Mary G. Joseph Thomas, Mrs. McBride was born in Columbus, GA and was a graduate of William H. Spencer High School.

She was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church and attended Sightseeing Road Church at Ft. Benning, GA.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Row McBride, her son, Mitchell McBride, five siblings, Lee, Jr., Clifford and Felton Thomas, JoBell Porter and Jean Thomas. Survivors include: her sister, Betty Watson; a brother Louis Thomas (Mary), devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
