Dear Heather,
Happy birthday to you in Heaven! Life has changed so much since you left us 8 years ago but I know you're with us every day and I'm sure you've shed many tears and lots of smiles with all of us along the way. I got to spend time with your boys and all of your family at the dam over the weekend. Alex, Michael, and Ryan are amazing people and you must be so very proud of them! They are all so handsome, smart, kind, compassionate, and polite. We are so blessed that you gave them life. You are their guardian angel!
God bless your dad as he cares for your mother. He is truly wonderful with her. Who would ever have thought this would happen to our beloved Patti? In addition to caring for your mom, your dad has spent countless hours trying to justify your untimely death. He misses you terribly and will never let go.
Leanne and Jeff have 3 awesome, adorable boys too. Evan, Carter, and Braxton are full of energy and love spending time with all of their cousins! And I'm sure you're already aware that they are having a baby girl in less than 2 months!!! They haven't chosen a name yet but of course Olivia will be her middle name. We "sprinkled" Leanne with girl gifts and Beth gave her a quilt made from your wedding dress so your new niece will have a part of you!
Jamie spends many days with your mom and she misses you Heather. She misses all the times you spent with her just giving her guidance and support. She is busy helping Chris raise Ely and Kendall and is a great mother to them.
Then there is Justin, Megan and those 3 beautiful little girls! Emory, Ava, and Maddie all have their own look and personality. Emory reminds us all of you! She looks like you and is so smart. She is a leader and takes care of her younger sisters just like you did!
We thank God for grandma Carr as she sure has been there for your mom and dad countless times. What an amazing "young" 81 year old woman!
We reminisced about so many things over the weekend and we sure missed you. We think of your every day. You loved the dam and your boys are enjoying it now and making memories with nana, papa, their aunts, uncles, and cousins.
I hope you're celebrating today with Jesus and your grandparents. Until we see you again...love and miss you Heather!
Aunt Jo
