ForeverMissed

It is with both sadness and joy that the family of Helen Mangelsdorf - sons Steven Mangelsdorf and Thomas Kareth, sister Jean Kareth, and granddaughters Harper and Remy - announce Helen's transition from life to eternal life at the age of 90. Having said her good-byes to family, close friends and the All Saints Episcopal Church community, Helen lived her final days in eager anticipation of reunion with her God and reunion with departed family and friends.

A wise teacher in life, Helen taught by example the virtues of unconditional love, strength in trial, steadfastness in faith, and generosity in spirit. In similar fashion, Helen taught how to face, head-on, the inevitability of death with beauty, grace, dignity, courage, and ultimately trust in a loving and personal God. A lover of good food, good humor, good books, good music, and good dogs, Helen shared with all.

As a longtime friend and parishioner of All Saints Episcopal Church in Cincinnati, Helen's ever-presence next to sister Jean will be deeply missed.

To Helen’s family and friends, our heartfelt condolences on their profound loss.

To Helen, herself, congratulations on a life well-lived and triumphant end.
And to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, everlasting Thanks for an exceptional mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and way-shower.

I’m deeply saddened with this news. Helen was kind, caring, generous, and a loving soul. I had the honor to work with Helen and Jean for a number of years. We got to share lots of laughs and good times, for which I am thankful. You will be sorely missed.

I received news today of the passing of Helen Mangelsdorf. I am sad, but I must pay tribute to Helen for a life well lived. She and her sister, Jean Kareth, worked at Cincinnati Public Schools in the Testing office for many years. I came to know both of them very well. They were hardworking, fun to be with and kind to all.

To Helen's family and friends, God bless and keep you. She was one of the sweetest, most wonderful people I've ever met--a wonderful person and a good friend; and I'll really miss her.

Blessed

August 12, 2020
I will be forever blessed to have been a part of Helen and Jean's lives. It is hard to say something about one without including the other. They took the greatest care of my grandmother and for that I will always be grateful. Helen was a beautiful soul and will be missed.
