Helen A. Morin passed away in peaceful dignity after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 surrounded by her family.

 

Helen was born and raised in Montreal, Canada to the late Hilda and Thomas Gregson. She resided in Montreal, Canada with her husband Robert (Bob) and children Mark, Joanne, Jean and Paul until 1980 when she moved to Stewartsville, New Jersey with her husband, Bob and children, Jean and Paul. Helen and Bob then moved to Middlesex, NJ, and retired to Charleston, SC then to Lakewood, NJ before moving to their current residence in Leesburg, FL.

 

Helen touched the hearts of those she met along her journey and she will be remembered for her ability to laugh easily, enjoy her family and friends and support her loved ones.

 

Helen began her career at Bell Canada and then Canadian Pacific before becoming an Executive Secretary for Domtar in Montreal, Canada and then for L’Oreal in Somerset, NJ. She was an avid reader and an enthusiast of a healthy living style which included exercise, swimming and golf.

 

Helen is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert E. Morin; four children, Mark and wife Danielle (Ryan) Morin of Montreal; Joanne Morin and husband Gilles des Roberts of Montreal; Jean Morin and wife Jacqueline Roberge of Montreal; and Paul and wife Jennifer Morin of Martinsville, NJ. Grandchildren, Alexandre Morin and wife Anne-Marie Larochelle, Philippe Morin and wife Andrea Di Tomasso, Patrick Malouin and wife Melissa Harvey, Karine Malouin, Chloe and Sophie Morin all of Canada and Matthew and Stephanie Morin of New Jersey. Great Grandchildren; Noah Morin and Larissa Morin of Canada. She is also survived by her brother Fred and his wife Molly Gregson of Nova Scotia, Canada. She is predeceased by her parents Hilda and Thomas Gregson and siblings Marion, Peggy, Bob and Allan.

 

A Memorial Service will be held in Montreal on September 3, 2010.
