God looked around his garden and saw an empty space
Then He looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face.  
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest -
God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.


Ouma Pop touched to many lives - not just those of her 7 children and countless grandchildren - but also that of friends and strangers.  Many a delicious, home-cooked-with-love meal were enjoyed by family and friends around her solid wooden dining table.  Bottled peaches, bottled grapes, bottled apple-and-pumpkin chutneys were stacked neatly in her cupboards and presented proudly to visitors to her home.


Ouma Pop might have left this earth, but her memories will be treasured forever by those who have known the dearest and most generous person to have ever crossed their paths.
