Her Life

MY ROCK

October 6, 2015

What can I say....for those that were lucky enough to know my grandma know the kind of woman she was. She was always trying to cook for someone or give anyone any little gift she could. She was also everyones weather "woman" ready with any weather updates, worried about all, always.
For me, she was my rock and I belive that she still will be until I am with her.
Growing up with my grandma from the age of 18 months to now at 34 years old, I always saw my grandma working hard even when she no longer could work. She always did what she could to provide, and when she could'nt anymore she showed me the importance of working and being independent, because in this life you never know what tomorrow brings. My grandma was the most independent strong willed woman I have ever known and I hope that when God calls me to be with my grandmother my kids will see all those good qualities she left me here.

Grandma, you will be with me every moment of every day and I will cherish all the moments we had growing up, all the struggles we went through together most importanly the amazing grandma you were to my kids. I thank God for allowing us to have our Target and Starbucks trips up until the week you left me.
I know that you are here giving me the strenght I need everyday, for you.
