We were so sorry to hear about Mae. I know she is in a better place. She was such a good friend to mom for many years. Frank and Mae where both beautiful people and wonderful neighbors. We had many good times with both of them. I am so glad they will be together again. They were a match made in heaven. Deepest sympathy to her family.
So sorry to hear of Mae's death. It brings back a lot of memories. Mae was a good friend of my aunt Dorothy Hunt Ferguson in the days before either were married. They lived together and I can remember those days as I was 5 or 6 yrs old. Catherine was my aunt's best friend and we knew the other brothers & sisters. Love & Sympathy to the family.
To Aunt Mae and Uncle Frank: We all had so many blessed memories with you both growing up. Kathy and I used to love going over to the house and catching fish in the lake! We will never forget your true loving sweet nature! May God bless all of the family! Love, Heather and Kathy
Only once in a life time does an aunt and uncle this special come along in a person's life. My fondest memories growing up as a child are when visiting Aunt Mae and Uncle Frank in Wilmington, at Kerr Lake and at their home on Legion Mill Road in Wake Forest. They loved everyone around them unconditionally from the bottom of their hearts. God Bless you both. Love, Mike & Gail
Dearest Family Members -- we cannot celebrate the life of Aunt Mae without including Uncle Frank. What a beautiful love story. The thought of the two of them being reunited thrills my heart. Can you imagine the look between them last Saturday afternoon when they saw one another again? God bless these two precious souls who brought so much laughter and happiness to our lives.
