I've had the pleasure over the past 8 years to spend a little time with Irene and found her to be a gentle, creative and sensitive person. She enjoyed hours of reading and knitting. She made dinner one evening for her son's Stevens birthday and we shared our thoughts and laughed a bit. It was to be the last time I would see Irene. She died a few months later. Rest in peace in heaven Irene.
