Well here we are in 2018 my buddy Ivan would have been 78 yesterday had he still been here (he is still here in my mind) never thought I would miss anyone so much, you have to know what a great guy Ivan was to.understand. Ivan you are in my thoughts constantly don't have those fun days out any more, those trips to.the massage palours,. restaurants or just a walk and a chat. Joy is still the great.wife and conpanipn you said she would be.

Thailand just hasn't been the same without you. Golf is not as.much fun, those.lunches and dinners we had together, nothing has replaced them.  Miss you so much good buddy.

Ivan is my boss during worked in Bechtel with Dorian Nunn. He is very good person in my memorial. As remembered every person who worked with him in Bechtel feel good with him. He has good personality, opened mind and being good instructor too. I am shocked and feel sad when i heard that he pass away. 
After he left from Bechtel, I still met him sometimes by chances even at Map Ta Phut and Bangkok. I met him last time at Fortune Condo few months before his pass away. I went to Starbuck near my condo and saw Mr.Choi help designing ramp for handicap people for that condo. I am so surprise on seeing him near my living place again. He invited me take family to have dinner with him at his new the breeze condo near Chaopraya. Unfortunately he could not receive my call. I went to his condo and heard from condo officer that he already passed away a month ago.
This make me shocked from what I saw few months before that.

Mr.Choi will be in our Thai people mind forever.

I miss my dad so much. My grief will never go away. I think about him everyday and wish for more of his good advice. Father's day and today are the worst days of the year. I wish to tell him one more time, "You are the best dad in the whole wide world!" Perhaps he hears me in heaven.

There has been a big hole in my life this last year, many times O have wanted to discuss something, or share an event with my pal Ivan.  I miss him like I imagine somebody wouldiss a brother, something I don't have but that was how I felt about my good buddy Ivan.  You live on Pal because you are so often in my thoughts.  You are now in the house of our Lord and Father and I am sure you are doing well there. I do miss you sooooooo much

Ivan was a great person in every was, true family manwho always had his cildren's and parents welbeing at the front of his mind.  He and I became friends when I was relocated to Thailand by my employers, Bechtel Corp.  He played a major role in settling me into life he, he was for many years a golfing buddy, an eating buddy, so we became 2 guys who enjoyed life together.
I will always miss you pal.

I dearly love Uncle Ivan. He was always happy and supportive. He was fun to be around and always shared a smile with me. I will miss him and won't forget him. I'm sure his life will leave a legacy with his posterity for generations to come.

We were so sorry to learn of Ivan's passing. He was a fantastic Yeye to Jessica and they had a close and loving relationship. Rest in peace Ivan, you will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry that Ivan left us so soon, but the fond memories that he left behind will stay with us forever. He was such a charming, caring and fun loving person, always the life of the party, I feel privilege that I got to know him and could count him as one of my friends.

Ivan was our big brother, a typical big brother who was wise, generous and caring. He loved to gather us up and had a party. He loved to be with his family. He never burdened us with anything; but I wished he had shared more about his illness...perhaps we would have put our foot down about him seeking medical attention immediately. 
But then again, Ivan was a dutiful son. He is with mom now and looking after her in Heaven.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of one of my best friends I chummed around when I was going thru high school at PC. I used to go to his house after school as his home was very close to PC. My memory is going fast as I forget whether we shared the same class in junior high, but I do remember going into senior i i, I was in his class. After graduation I lost touch with him until 40 reunion in Toronto, then reconnected at 50 reunion in HK. We saw each other twice after, once in Bangkok in 2010, and once in Vancouver for a few hours. These fond memories will last until the end. I hope that your good nature and spirit will go on. We still treasure the time you showed us at the Palace with your car parked inside near the nursing station etc. in Bangkok. So long!

I am shocked & sorry to know that Ivan passed away. I may be the last lighter to meet him. On June 28, he had lunch in Bellevue with my whole family, including my son & daughter & grandsons. We chatted for over one and half hours. He did mention that he has kidney problem, and he is very careful about the food he eats. He said that he will soon fly to Toronto to visit his father, and then to USA to visit his son and daughter. He looked normal at that time and he drove to the restaurant by himself. I shall try to attend his funeral once I know the arrangement.

In my mind, Ivan had always been the first few in the To extended family going abroad to study. I hardly remember how he looked as I was too young when he left Hong Kong. However, I finally met him in person at Emily's wedding. That event left a lasting, fond memory of him.
