Jack was a talented dancer who loved music. He enjoyed reading, traveling and learning about people and the world around him. Jack was interested in the arts and antiques. Many who knew him well said he was a romantic; a real lady’s man. Toward the end of his life he often went to local dance clubs in Escondido where he met with a group of friends who came together to enjoy their love of dance. Jack was a quiet and thoughtful person who will be missed by those he touched.

Jack was enlisted into the army from  April 11, 1945 to September 14, 1948. His separation papers state he had an honorable discharge and was discharged as Sergeant. His separation papers listed him as Band Man Trombone (440).
