jackie you are a amazing lady the bestest friend mother anyone could ask for untill we meet again i love you and miss you
Jacqueline M. Young-Palechek, 43, of Hayward passed away after a battle with cancer on Jan. 14, 2011 at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital with family and friends at her side.
Jacqueline was born on April 8, 1967 at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif., the daughter of Jim Young and Kathy Benepe. Raised in Stone Lake “Jackie” graduated from Hayward High School and went on to work as a Certified Nurse Assistant for over 20 years at Valley Health Care as well as driving school bus for over 15 years at Hayward Bus Service. She also worked as a teachers’ assistant at the high school and drove students to many events including the Special Olympics with which she was very involved.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Steve Palechek; two children, Jeana Louise Palechek and Steve M. Palechek Jr.; her unborn grandchild; her parents, Jim Young and Kathy Benepe; sisters, Louise Fogal, Julie Martenson, Denise Leidholdt; brothers, James Young Jr. and Robert Young; and many nieces and nephews.
