One night, I was looking forward to getting together with Jack and Debbie this summer. Next morning, I learned that Jack couldn’t wait for the next time that I was counting on.
We met Jack and Debbie first as Gordon’s clients about ten years ago, and then they quickly became two of our dearest friends. Jack wore many hats in our relationship ranging from our client, partner, pharmacist, friend, to family.
Regrettably, I wasn’t able to attend Jack's memorial service today with the time and distance restrictions, but spent the day remembering him going through the wonderful memorial site Debbie created. I’m sure she arranged an equally wonderful memorial service for him with the family and friends around as well.
Thank you so much Jack for your trust, loyalty, and friendship all these years. Hopefully you are reunited with Gordon and Daksh now and you all are enjoying one another’s company again. You guys are probably bantering over Fox news, UFC fights, and SEO strategies ("Gurden, you have no SEO” as Daksh would often say). And of course, contemplating world domination with new business ideas from numerous brainstorming sessions.
Debbie, we both appreciated you just as much and I hope to be able to repay your kindness at least little bit through this difficult time. Please don’t hesitate to contact me anytime you need a friend (if you can settle for an unreliable one, that is). His memories are alive in my heart, and you and the family are in my thoughts.
