James Frank Bledsoe was born October 5, 1942 in Alexander City, AL to Lue Della and DeOtis Bledsoe. He passed away at his New Site home Thursday, January 9, 2014.

Mr. Bledsoe was a Vietnam veteran and a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents;two brothers, Lenair Bledsoe, Donald Bledsoe and a sister, Ira Bledsoe.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Parker Bledsoe of New Site, a daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Kelley Etris, two grandchildren Caleb and Savana Etris, all of Opelika. He is also survived by sisters Ora Hall, Burnetta Hawkins, Glenda Bledsoe, Martha Edwards (all of Alexander City), Patricia (Nathaniel) Thomas, a brother Samuel (Gail) Bledsoe both of Columbus, Georgia, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
