I will remember Jim for his amazing good humor in trying times -- always a person of integrity, above the fray. He once lent me his music collection for a long drive to Sidney. What an extravaganza. Indy rock, electronica, pop, country, bluegrass, and, his fav, bayou & ragtime tunes: I thought, "Who is this guy, and is he really in his 60s?!" He had a heart of gold.
