Mr. James “Dan” George, 63 year old resident of Lanett died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. George will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 11:00 AM EDT from the graveside in Resthaven Memory Gardens.  Reverend Brad Reed will officiate. 

The family will greet friends Friday evening, September 21, 2012, from 6:00 PM EDT until 8:00 PM EDT at McCarthy Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Valley Humane Society or your favorite charity.
