(This is a public memorial for Michael Moore, not connected to his family)

Son of Dana Moore and Todd Moore.

Michael Moore was a natural born leader and a very proud member of the Cub Scouts, often wearing his uniform outside of meetings. He was a very well liked happy and lively boy with a great sense of humor who liked to make people laugh and had aspirations of growing up to be a policeman. He even carried a toy sheriff badge on him with his name on it which was given to him by his father. He also loved playing T-ball and was a second grade student at Weaver Elementary School in West Memphis, Arkansas.

According to one of his teachers Michael liked math and making classmates laugh, and was fascinated with uniforms. "His daddy was in the Navy, and he came to school one day with his daddy's uniform on, the coat part and that little Navy hat," she said. "When we'd do the pledge every morning, he'd spread those little legs, put his hands behind him and do that Scout salute."  He was known as "Michael" or "Mike" to his family and friends, who cherish and miss him very much.

Michael had his life tragically cut short at the age of eight on May 5, 1993 when he and two of his friends, Christopher Byers and Steve Branch, were murdered in a wooded area of West Memphis, Arkansas known as Robin Hood Hills.

Final resting place: Crittenden Memorial Park - Marion, Arkansas
