Forever Loved and Eternally Missed

     James Stevin Jackson

It is with great Sorrow that the Jackson family announces the passing of James (Bill) Jackson. James gained his wings Sunday May 17th 2020 surrounded by family.

James left this earthly world to rest at the throne of his king while his Parents and Beloved Brother........welcome him home...

James was a man of morals and old fashion standards, a huge history buff of long-ago ancestors of the Civil War. He was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans and Free Mason.

James was a family man, although he didn't have children of his own, he was considered a second dad to nieces and nephews who loved him like a dad. James enjoy teaching his nieces and nephews about fishing hunting, he loves all animals, he enjoyed learning about his family's legacy. He loves gardening, and life in General. James was the type of man who still held doors open for the ladies...the type who honored his country and believed in the allegiance of his flag. James was proud of his heritage and what it stands for, James was a wonderful story teller of history. He cherished holidays spent celebrating with all his family under one roof. He was a strong believer in his Faith in God. He firmly believed in Family Traditions.

James retired from San Jacinto College in 2007 after his organ transplant which lasted 13 years but not without complications. James was in and out of the hospital more times than can be counted with complications of his transplant and with many falls with broken bones of the shoulder..hip..hands...wrist...back and lots of black eyes he took all of these mishaps and never complained. James was thankful to be alive and thankful for his donor. And for the past few years he dealt with more illnesses. The cirrhosis came again and the anti-rejection medicine caused his kidneys to fail. James was put on dialysis near the end of his journey James went 3 times a week for 4hrs of treatment.

Our Man of Steel..(Superman) got tired and his body just wore out he was a fighter to the very end. James is proceeded in death by his parents Willard Preston Jackson.
