Memorial Service Reading
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush;
I am the swift uplifting rush of quietest birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
So, do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.
And, The Lord Is My Shepherd.
I read them both. The poem was a favorite of hers that I know that she would have wanted read. And, The Lord is my Shepherd we prayed with over many yrs. Including the day, I had the doctor admit her to the hospital and she never came home. She went to her home in heaven. Waiting for all of us to join her and dad and, all the dogs someday.
The Winston Cup Race listed in her life chapter of this.
In her life area..I listed one story so far. Winston Cup Race. Anyone, that knew mom will find this funny.
