Mrs. Janet Lea McGowan Northern, widow of Mr. Tommy Northern, of 308 Alman St. Union SC, passed away on Wednesday February 17th 2016 at her home. Born June 14th 1960, she was the daughter Mr. Francis Dudley McGowan and the late Joan Wood Parker.

The family will receive friends at Covenant Baptist Church (100 Medical Sciences Dr, Union, SC 29379) on Feb. 25th at 1:00pm with services to follow at 2:00pm. 

Please send flowers to Lewis Funeral Home (1247 Duncan Bypass, Union, SC 29379)

My sweet cousin you will be missed by so many,,you were taken way to soon,but God called you home to be w/ so many of our loved ones that have gone before you...And so now you are there w/ them in their loving arms...I will cherish the memories we have made through the years but mainly the 12 days we spent togeather when you came to visit me last April,we had so much fun and I know you loved Tx and had a good time cause everytime I talked to you,,,,,,you said so......Fly High my sister you will always be with me.......RIP

My precious Nanet , God called you way to soon .We been there & back again girl. Now you are healthy again with Benji & Tommy & Kacie & your precious Mama & Ruth ,hug them all for us ,tell them we love them & miss them. I`ll do what I can for Mikayla ,she such a strong young lady ,I see so much of you in her . I`ll miss you my Sister . I carry you with me always ....R.I.P.

Percy has me in stitches here, remembering old times with you & Tommy. Remember the potato ! LOL Peach festival ,Dicks
`s Last Resort but I think Quincy tops them all ,we went to 4 resturants before we finally got food ! LOL I can see you two right now ,round & round.... Like Tommy with you,Percy knew what I needed this morning ,still crying but belly laughing tears ,we had some times,.How do we do this without you ? I love you
