I honestly don't know too much about my mothers time in the Air Force. She didn't speak about it much but I will say the VA has taken good care of her in these last few years providing a lot of what she needed and paying the hospital bills. As far as I know they may even help by providing headstones. 

My mom was in good enough health to be present at the birth of my daughter. She was so happy. Later on I always joked with her that Ethan was her favorite.. but I know she loved all of her Grandkids very much. She had photos of all of them (Aubrey, Ethan, Megan, Shelby, Lindsey, Caleb) up on the walls in her room.

This photo was taken by my mom really before I did much. After this I went off to Job Corps, finished my high school education, fell in love, fell out of love and came home again. Even when I was back I had no idea what all was still in store. 


My mom and dad both were supportive of whatever it was I was going to do and I hope I can be the same way for my children.
