Janice was my USA supplier and always found what I needed. I will miss her greatly. Another friend of the doll world leaves us and its so sad. Fondly remembered, Joyce
I met Janice over 35 years ago, and words really can't describe the affection and respect and admiration I feel for her. She was exceptional in so many ways, and will be very sorely missed. May her family be comforted and may she rest in peace...
In the 1980's when I was attending a lot of UFDC Nationals and regionals I became very close friends with Janice. Thoes were the days! We had so much fun! I will really miss getting to see her and enjoying her company.
Janice and I met through valentines almost 20 years ago. She introduced me to dolls and design and ultimately UFDC where we had the good fortune to re- connect each summer for the last decade. A real kindred spirit, she was also a fount of knowledge and good advice. I will so miss you, Janice.
I never met Janice personally but got to know her through dolls which I have a passion for. Janice became my friend and was always there for me; someone I knew I could trust to always stir me in the right direction with my antique dolls. I always enjoyed our conversations and feel a deep void in learning of her passing. My deepest sympathy I extend to her loved ones.
Dear Janice, THANK YOU so much for being what you are and how you are in our Doll Community. Since I met you almost 20 years ago, I always was touched and impressed by your sharing personality, your impeccable elegance, your wit and extraordinary energy. Rest in peace. You achieved so much more than you think and keep being present in our hearts.
What a wonderful tribute to a great lady. Janice was an amazing woman. She always was there to help me to chose fabrics and ribbons for my dolls and also very patience. She will be miss. All my thoughts and love are with your family. Sincerely Alessandra
We shared so many things over the years, emails, phone calls, and Friday night dinners at convention. There is a hole in my life as there is in so many of the lives Janice touched. Go in peace, my friend, and know that you will be remembered in all the "Janice stories" your friends will tell over the years...
Janice, I only met you once, briefly, at UFDC but your knowledge and expertise was so welcome. The Doll World is forever blessed by your contributions. You will be greatly missed. Hugs, Patti-Ann
Janice, It's that smile I will miss the most, it was always there, at the top of the stairs. Such a fabulous lady will be missed by so many. Rest in well deserved peace. Celina
How you will be missed in our doll world. I always felt like you were my friend and you were willing to advise me with so many sewing secrets. Your illnesses have really plagued you in the past years - I think that we all worried about you doing so much. Here is my thank you for all that you did for me. God bless you. You were loved. Claire
What a wonderful tribute to an amazing lady. You were always so knowledgeable and helpful with my doll and sewing needs. The doll world has lost one of the best. I will truly miss you!!
Janice, the doll makers best friend. Dependable, honest and always providing the very best for all of us.Friendly and helpfull. The mold is broken, she was one of a kind. she will be very, very missed. Susan Dunham
Your booth was the first place I ran to in the sales room at convention. Always found some very exciting things. And wonder of all wonders you always remembered my name. A great lady very missed.
Janice was such a dear person. It is still so hard to believe that she is no longer with us. I catch myself often starting to email her and then my heart gets heavy when I know I can't talk dolls and doll supplies with her anymore. You were such a special person Janice. I hope you are smiling down on us and seeing how much you are missed. Annick
Nothing will be the same without you. What a terrible loss for all of us, and I loved you dearly. Always kind, always thoughtful and you will be forever missed. A loss to me and I am sure, to all of the Doll World. Joyce
one of my dearest friends. Janice and I shared so much. She made an impact on everyone that met her. Beautiful inside and out. love you Jan, May you rest in peace..Love Connie
Janice knew what the doll costumers needed and made sure that those sewing treasures were available for us all. We will all miss her, but I'm sure she'll be waiting in heaven with the same wonderful things. My condolences to her family.
For some reason I had been thinking about Jan lately and wondering how she was doing. So sad to hear she had passed away. It was a shock. She was always so nice to me, filled my orders and never worried about payment coming on time which I appreciated as I am so absent minded but tried to get a check in the mail as soon as I received the bill. Her things were always so beautiful.
The Doll World had lost a genuine treasure. Some of my very best memories of National Convention are meeting Janice for the first time, learning SO much from her, the joy of working her booth with her (many years ago), and all the times she had just the perfect ribbon or silk yardage for my dolly creations. So many memories....will always think of Janice when I dive into my silk stash.
The doll world has lost one of its greatest resources. Jan's smiling face and incredible knowledge will be greatly missed, especially those of us who love to sew for our dolls.
God bless you, friends and family, as you celebrate Janice's life and remember what a great lady she was. I met her a couple of times through Ginger and she always left an impression on me. What a positive outlook she had. She'll be the brightest star shining from Heaven in the sky. Jan Hoag
Janice was such a classy lady and was always willing to share her wisdom and life experiences. One of her greatest acheivements was raising a wonderful son, Eric, who is an amazing husband to my dear friend!
What can I say............I shall always miss her. She was fun to work for and a treasure to know!!! May she rest in peace..........she will forever be loved.
An amazing friend to all .You will be missed. Thanks for your kindness to me during the loss of my son. Always a kind word to help others.Heavens a brighter place with you there .What a gift you were to all of us. Phyllis B
She was always nice to me...sweet, and welcoming. I am grateful to have known her and loved her as Eric's mom. She always called me 'sweetie pie'. Those were her last words to me "Take Care, Sweetie pie!"
Janice was the best!! Always such a sweet lady and so easy to work with. So fast too. Always getting me exactly what I needed. I meet her years ago at a doll show and have worked so often with her since. She will be so missed.
You left such a mark in this world and in our lives. You will never be forgotten and will always be missed. The Doll World will have forever be blessed by your contributions.
I knew you but briefly - it was enough for your charming personality to shine through and I appreciated the help you gave to me so much and enjoyed our brief acquaintance. The amazing messages on the group attest to what a wonderful person you were - wish I had known you better and for longer. RIP dear Janice
Janice, I will always remember Cape May, NJ when Ann Gardiner and I were able to help you run your booth. It was soooooooo much fun and we really enjoyed working with you. You were not feeling well and it was a pleasure being able to help. I will always remember you from Gaithersburg Doll Shows. Your taste is impeccable. You will be missed by many.
What an amazing woman, a friend to so many of us. You would be amazed how missed you are - the group posts attest to how fondly we thought of you. Every place I look in the living room, there is some reminder of you and what you did for the Bleuette world. Class act all the way. Rest in peace.
As I go around my house I realize there are so many things Jan has given me over the years. Also things I've bought on our trips to antique stores -- she was always a walking encyclopedia of antiques. It's a nice way to remember my best friend.
