Janice Taylor, age 65, passed away October 14th, 2023, at 8:26pm at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by family. She was a graduate of Wayne High School. She was a retired bus driver for RTA. It was at RTA that she met her husband, Steve, and the couple spent 24 years together.

Janice was an avid scrapbooker who would spend hours doing craft projects. She also loved to bake and was well known for her coconut cakes. She loved camping and spending many weekends at Elm Valley Fishing Club. Janice was a faithful member of Spinning Road Baptist Church.

Janice is survived by her husband Steve, son Joshua, daughter Rachel, stepdaughter Tamara, stepson Jason, granddaughter Taylor, brother Joe and sister Judy. Janice is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Nancy Shields.

Funeral services will be held at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home located at 2455 Stanley Ave. Dayton, OH 45404 on Monday October 23rd, 2023, Visitation at 11:00 am with services to follow at 12:00pm. There will be a luncheon held at Elm Valley Fishing Club located at 5118 S. Dayton-Brandt Rd New Carlisle, OH 45344 following the service. Everyone is welcome to join.
