This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Jay Wilger. We will remember him forever.

I first met Jay in 1990 where we worked as 911 paramedics. He was obnoxious, and always had to have the last word. I liked him immediately as he was just like me.

Jay Steven Wilger, 48, of Lincoln, died Tuesday June 7, 2011. Born in Lincoln on June 17, 1962 to Kenneth and Deloris Wilger. Jay was a lifelong Lincoln resident.

Survived by his mother, Deloris Wilger of Lincoln; son, Noah Wilger of Lincoln; daughter, Kaelynn Wilger of Lincoln; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Bernie Jelinek of Valparaiso; and nieces and nephews. Proceded in death by his father.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1720 Lake Street, Lincoln, with Father Sullivan Celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 9, at Wadlow Rozenek Funeral Home, 5200 'R' Street, Lincoln.
